The Sunshine Coast Community Foundation is stepping up to help local efforts to address the impacts of the covid-19 crisis. Many of our most vulnerable populations, such as those with mental health challenges, isolated seniors, youth and families living in poverty, and those in inadequate housing are disproportionately affected by the closure of local facilities or reduction in services. The Sunshine Coast Covid-19 Emergency Relief Fund will provide grants to local organizations whose programs and services benefit these populations, or whose operations are jeopardized by financial cut backs and fundraising challenges.
You can make a difference today by contributing to this fund. 100% of the gifts received by the Foundation will be distributed through this fund to support local efforts.
To make a donation, you may:
- Make a donation by credit card through CanadaHelps. Choose the Sunshine Coast Covid-19 Emergency Relief Fund.
- Write a cheque payable to the Community Foundation and mail it to us at P.O. Box 1343, Sechelt, BC V0N 3A0. Write Covid-19 in the memo line.
- Send an e-transfer from your bank to [email protected] Send us the password to receive the gift and let us know that you want it to be added to the Emergency Relief Fund.
- Make a gift of publicly traded securities by contacting the Foundation at 604.741.7360.
