Letter of Intent for Qualified Donees

The deadline for applying for the seconnd round for the Canada 150th Matching Grant Program has passed. If you submitted a Letter of Intent, we will let you know if you are invited to apply for a grant by early April.

New applicants as well as previous applicants are welcome to apply. If you submitted a Letter of Intent in November 2017 and were not invited to complete the application for the Community Fund for Canada’s 150th, you may re-apply in this second round. (If you are not invited to continue after your 2017 Letter of Intent has been assessed by our committee, you MIGHT be invited to move forward in the application for a Community Grant of up to $7,500 with SCCF).

Canada’s sesquicentennial is an historic moment with the power to bring people and places together as we dream big about our communities and our country. In the spirit of this moment, the Community Fund for Canada’s 150th will activate a breathtaking array of ideas and activities that will bring out the best that Canada has to offer, now and for future generations.

The Community Fund for Canada’s 150th is a small grants program that will support community initiatives from coast to coast to coast. The Fund is a collaboration between Canada’s community foundations, the Government of Canada, and extraordinary leaders from coast to coast to coast.
