Community Grants will not be made for:

  1.  academic research (i.e., research intended for publication only without application to current activities),
  2. tours or travel outside the community,
  3. scholarships or bursaries,
  4. activities of religious organizations that serve primarily their membership and/or their direct religious purposes,
  5. general endowments,
  6. core operating and on-going costs not directly related to the project,
  7. building campaigns,
  8. operating or capital deficits, or
  9. individuals.
