Please note that because each grant is renewable for two subsequent years, this granting stream is fully subscribed from 2020-2023.

Beginning in 2020, Sunshine Coast Foundation will offer two community granting streams. Both streams will be offered within the spring granting cycle (Letters of Intent due February 28th; full applications due April 30th).

The 'responsive' stream is a continuation of the previous grants process, offering grants of up to $7,500 for worthwhile community projects. Return to here if you seek information about applying for a responsive community grant.

Intentional Community Grants reflect the Foundation's commitment to making its grants strategic,  impactful, and focused on high priority community challenges. Based on the 2019 Vital Focus and other Vital Signs reports, the Foundation will offer grants of up to $40,000 per year for up to three years for initiatives (organizations, programs, or projects) that address one or more of the following issues:

- housing affordability

- food security

- mental health and addiction services.

If you intend to apply for an intentional community grant, please read the guidelines, eligibility, and restrictions (tabs to the left), and take a look at the grants software online tutorials before proceeding to the Foundation's grants application portal.
