SC Community Foundation Now accepting Letters of Intent for 2018

In celebration of its 15th Anniversary, Sunshine Coast Community Foundation is proud to announce the availability of community grants in 2018. Our two-step process involves a Letter of Intent application, which our Grants Committee will review to select projects for which a full application will be invited. The Letter of Intent application opens on February 1, 2018 and closes on February 28, 2018 at 6:00 PM PST.

Please read all sections of the Grants web page, especially the Guidelines, Eligibility, and Restrictions.

Please click here to access the Foundation’s Letter of Intent application for 2018. If you have used the grants software (Community Force) previously, log in with your existing user name and password. If not, you will need to create an account.

All registered charities and other qualified donees under the Canada Income Tax Act are eligible to receive grants from the Sunshine Coast Community Foundation. The Foundation cannot make grants to non-charities/non-qualified donees. Non-charities/non-qualified donees wishing to access grants from the Foundation must collaborate with a charity/qualified donee and identify that charity/qualified donee and their registered charitable number in the Letter of Intent. If the letter of Intent is accepted and a full application invited, the charity/qualified donee will be required to complete certain sections of the application specifying how it will be involved in managing and administering the project.

Please see Information for Charity/Non-Charity Collaborators for more information.
