Diana Rae Diana Rae is a Chartered Professional Accountant with a focus in management accounting and has extensive experience in non-profits and registered charities. She is committed to strategies for organizational growth and development, collaboration, and innovation. Diana is currently the Finance Manager for Tsain-Ko Development Group of Companies owned by the shíshálh Nation. Previously she was the accountant for the Sunshine Coast Botanical Society and Finance Manager and co-Executive Director for Sunshine Coast Community Services Society.
Diana has been involved in non-profit organizations on the Coast for over 3 decades, as a volunteer, a consultant and as an employee. From early days as a parent volunteer in the schools, to community fundraisers, cultural events, and social organizations, Diana has always been involved in community philanthropy and volunteerism. As well as being a trustee of the Pender Harbour Fire Protection District, Diana is also the Treasurer for the Ruby Lake Lagoon Nature Reserve Society, which is currently developing the Pender Harbour Ocean Discovery Station (PODS) Project - a marine research, monitoring, and education centre.
Diana has a keen interest in everything outdoors and spends a lot of time on her boat and hiking local trails. A 37-year resident of Pender Harbour, Diana and her late husband operated an oyster farm on Nelson Island, ran a marina and marine repair business, and raised two girls, one of whom lives in Pender Harbour. Diana will help connect the Foundation to the Pender Harbour community.
